International Workshop: Participatory Research for Water Governance and Biodiversity – Developing a Guidebook for Ph.D. Students and Early Career Researchers through co-creation and co-production process

This collaboration project was developed by a team of Ph.D. candidates, lecturers, and researchers from universities in Australia, Germany, Nigeria, Thailand, and the UK. The project is funded by the Institute for Global Sustainable Development (IGSD) at the University of Warwick (UK) in collaboration with the Faculty of Political Science, Thammasat University, Thailand.
The main purpose of the workshop is to develop a guidebook on participatory research in water and biodiversity governance through an iterative co-creation process with early career researchers, Ph.D. students, academia, public sector representatives, NGO and civil society stakeholders, and practitioners on water governance and biodiversity, with a pilot test in Thailand.
The discussion will be based on the following issues among others:
Participatory research and co-creation process in water and biodiversity governance
Current and emerging methodologies in conducting participatory research in water and biodiversity governance
Experiences in collaborating with different partners in relation to water and biodiversity governance
